Recommended Prior Learning

Must have achieved 14 credits at Level 2 PED and have the approval of the HOF of PE.


Physical Education

This course is designed to develop higher level critical thinking skills and analyse in depth biophysical and socio-cultural concepts. Students will appraise their own performance while considering all aspects that can impact on performance improvement. Their application of knowledge is an extension of the Level 2 PED programme. Students will have the opportunity to sit the Physical Education Scholarship external assessment.

Rutherford College aims to deliver educational courses over and above that which is funded by the Ministry, however parental contribution for the costs of trips and activities where participation is optional, and/or components not covered by the Government grant may be requested, and we appreciate the financial support our families make to the School.
